Spear Hills
Nature
The Spear Hills are a group of hills in southeastern Montana, located south of Broadus in Powder River County. Rising to 3,694 feet, or 1,126 meters, they are recognized as a local landform rather than a mountain range. Their significance lies chiefly in their identification as one of Montana’s named upland features and in their inclusion in listings of the state’s ranges and elevated landforms, although little more is recorded here about their history or character.
