The Livermore Freedom Rock Veterans Memorial is dedicated to medical personnel in the armed forces through the years and honors those who risk their lives every day to protect the world and make it a better place. It also depicts military personnel handing out candy and C-rations to Vietnamese children while on patrol and honors Lance Corporal Jerry Hatcher, who gave his life in service of the country.
