Stony Creek Mountain is a 2,986-foot peak in the northeastern Adirondacks of New York, west of the hamlet of Coreys in Franklin County. Its name comes from nearby Stony Creek and the Stony Creek Ponds to the west. Set among low peaks, ponds, and forest, it stands near well-known Adirondack landmarks including Ampersand Mountain to the east-northeast and Middle Saranac Lake to the north. As one of the named mountains around Coreys, it helps define the character and terrain of this part of the Adirondack landscape.
