Charles John Schneider, son of Edward A. and Marie Byrne Schneider and brother of Rita Marie and Mary Schneider McCoy, was born on January 27, 1935, was ordained on May 25, 1963, and entered eternal life on June 10, 2009. He served at St. Anne in Bristol from 1963 to 1965; at St. Thomas Aquinas in Thomas, St. Veronica in Davis, and Our Lady of Mercy in Parsons from 1965 to 1971; at Sacred Heart in Bluefield from 1971 to 1981; at St. Joseph the Worker in Weirton from 1981 to 1993; and at St. Vincent de Paul in New Martinsville from 1993 to 2002.
