The first church stood on the site of Saint Anthony Cemetery. A second church was later built on this site, but the congregation outgrew that facility, and the present brick church was dedicated in 1927. It is considered one of the most splendid churches in the Lincoln Diocese and is notable for its beautiful stained-glass windows.
