The Missouri Pacific route ran from Butler, Missouri, to Mound City, Kansas. Its last train ran in 1949, bringing poles to complete rural electric service to Linn County. The depot was relocated to the park in 1981 and contains antiques, local memorabilia, and several work stations of the past.
