The Toad Stools

Camp Chesterfield began as an actual camp where visitors came to have readings and attend message services in the open air. Eventually, the area called the toad stools was created so mediums could give messages to the many people who visited the grounds during high season from June to September. An early version of a psychic fair, this historically and architecturally significant area served a very important purpose in the history of the IAOS and Camp Chesterfield. Well-known Camp Chesterfield mediums who used these tables and chairs have their names engraved on the cement tables.
