Stoney Demonstration Forest is a 318-acre state forest in Aberdeen, Maryland, in rural Harford County. Rather than serving only as undeveloped woodland, it is managed as a protected area with an educational mission. Its primary role is to demonstrate silviculture, forest management, and wildlife habitat management practices for students and landowners. The property was originally owned by Sydney Peverly until the state of Maryland purchased it in 1981. Its notable natural features include rock cliffs rising about 40 to 80 feet above the surrounding terrain.
