Ellaville's fourth depot was built by the Central of Georgia Railroad in 1929 after the previous three depots were destroyed by fire. The railroad later demolished this depot despite objections from citizens who wanted to preserve it. Erwin and Janiece Bauder, who started The Pizza Place on Main Street in 2004, wished to dedicate a painting to their loyal employees past, present, and future, and to their valued customers.
