McCloskey Hall was a men's residence hall built on this site in 1962 and razed in 2003. It was named for lawyer, banker, and U.S. Navy veteran David M. McCloskey, who served on the Council of Trustees from 1931 through 1941 and was one of the founders of the Student Association, Inc.
