Fountain Valley honors its veterans of all wars, large and small, including those who served, those who fought and fell, and those who did not return. They answered their country's call and served with pride, and through their service and sacrifice others remain at liberty to enjoy precious freedoms and the American way of life. The remembrance includes service in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
