Trollhaugen in Dresser, Wisconsin, is a long-running Midwest ski resort that grew from a 1950 operation with one tow rope and three slopes into a regional recreation area with 30 trails on 90 acres and a 260-foot vertical drop. Known especially for freestyle riding, it offers skiing, snowboarding, terrain parks, NASTAR races, night skiing, and winter tubing, with unusually late Friday hours. Later additions broadened it into a year-round destination, including a 2004 tubing hill and chalet expansion and a 2012 Adventure Park with zip lines and aerial challenge courses, plus a children’s course added in 2016.
