Sherron Cemetery was established circa 1877 by William "Buck" Sherron as a family graveyard, and the original Sherron family were the first to be buried there. In 1927, the cemetery was deeded to the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church by America Tennessee Sherron Angela and her family.
