The Sunmor neighborhood is generally known as an Alexander neighborhood, but Robert Higgins developed its first eleven affordable modernist tract homes. Designed by Donald Wexler and Ric Harrison, the Sunmor Model Home was completed in 1955, and home prices started at $17,500. After 1957, the Alexander Construction Company completed the tract.
