Nation Ford Fish Weir is an archaeological site in the Catawba River near Rock Hill, South Carolina, and one of the state’s few relatively intact historic Native American fishing weirs. Built as a double V-shaped rock trap upstream from the railroad trestle at Nation Ford, it reflects longstanding Indigenous use of this river corridor. Its position near the Nation Ford Road crossing and several documented Catawba villages connects it closely to the enduring presence of the Catawba people along this stretch of the river. The site was recognized for its significance by its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
