Museo Benini
Arts & Culture
Museo Benini is a single-artist museum in the Texas Hill Country on 35 acres near Marble Falls and northwest of Austin, devoted to the work of Italian artist Benini, born in Imola in 1941. Built in 2015, it presents more than sixty years of his paintings, from early “superroses” and geometric works to later abstractions, showing the evolution of his style. Set within a larger Hill Country compound, it belongs to a small group of single-artist museums associated with the Austin area. Its unusual character comes from focusing on an artist still living and working, making it both a retrospective and an active creative center.
