Bear River State Park is a 324-acre public recreation area on the east side of Evanston, Wyoming, along the Bear River. Established in 1991 and managed by the Wyoming Division of State Parks and Historic Sites, it emphasizes accessible outdoor use with picnic areas, a visitors center, wildlife viewing, and a small captive herd of bison and elk. An arched footbridge crosses the river, and the park’s paved and gravel trails are used for walking and for cross-country skiing in winter. It also forms the eastern end of the Bear River Greenway and hosts annual community events such as the Bear River Rendezvous.
