Frank A. Moore lived from 1905 to 1978 and served as a member of the Washington County Board of Supervisors for 32 years. He served on the Highway Committee for 24 years, including 11 years as chairman. He directed great interest and effort toward improving highways throughout Washington County, recognizing that highways were the blood lines of the county and that its well-being relied on good roads. He dedicated most of his adult life to this work.
