Bowe Hill is a mountain in the Town of Hartwick in Otsego County, central New York, lying southwest of Arnold Lake and northeast of Mount Vision. It was once called Rye Hill, a name tied to the large amounts of cereal grain grown on its slopes. That earlier name preserves the area’s agricultural history, while the mountain continues as a local geographic landmark in the Central New York region.
