Milan Town Square was the setting for Milan Home Coming and Normal School Reunion Celebration on August 18, 1910. Julia Comstock Felton and her sister Emma Comstock LaVayea stood on the porch of their home on July 4, 1910. This house was built by Dr. Leman Galpin in 1847 and is apart of The Milan Museum Campus. The Milan Boys Brigade stood on the steps of Lockwood Chapel, and Milan Civil War veterans stood in front of the 45-star flag that was in use from 1896-1908.
