Fox Mountain is a 1,944-metre (6,378-foot) peak on the Modoc-Lassen Plateau in southwestern Modoc County, California. Rising about 11.1 kilometres (6.9 miles) northwest of Adin, it is a notable high point in the surrounding landscape. Near the summit, just to the northwest, an old fire lookout tower stands on the mountain and remains accessible by dirt road.
