Universal Epic Universe opened in Orlando, Florida, on May 22, 2025, as Universal Orlando Resort’s fourth park and the centerpiece of a 750-acre expansion several miles south of the earlier parks. Announced in 2019, the project was delayed by construction pauses during the COVID-19 pandemic before opening in 2025. Built on a hub-and-spoke plan, it centers on Celestial Park and its Chronos gateway, with portal-style entrances leading to four themed lands: Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. Its opening marked Universal Orlando’s first new theme park in decades.
