Parks Covered Bridge in Hopewell Township, Perry County, Ohio, carries County Road 33 over a branch of Jonathan Creek and survives as part of the county’s 19th-century rural road system. Built in 1883 by William A. Dean and J.T. Tracey, it uses a multiple kingpost truss, a simple timber form widely used for short spans and represented here by a notably strong example. It is one of three nearly identical multiple kingpost covered bridges built in Perry County between 1874 and 1883. Recognized for its historic significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and still serves local transportation needs.
