Chi–Sandra Garden is an archaeological site in Idaho’s Payette National Forest and one of several Chinese American gardens identified in the Warren Mining District. Also known as 10IH1779, it was created by the Chinese American community to help feed migrant laborers working in the mines. The site reflects a practical and often overlooked part of mining-era life in Idaho, showing how Chinese American residents supported the district’s labor force. On June 27, 1990, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places and recognized alongside three other Chinese-American gardens in the district.
