Stockyards City is home to the world's largest stocker-feeder cattle market as well as the state's oldest restaurant, library, pharmacy, and western wear establishment. Its bank was chartered in 1925 and has remained a constant fixture in the area. The district is a vitally important part of Oklahoma history and offers tourists and locals a taste of Old West flavor in a setting designed to make cowboys and cowgirls feel right at home.
