Citizens of the Town of North Haven served their community and the nation in wartime from the Revolutionary War through the War of 1812, Mexican War, Civil War, Indian Wars, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War, and they were honored in the sincere hope that there would never be another war, with the dedication held on November 11, 1984.
