A log cabin made of chestnut logs dates to the early 1800's and originally stood in Berton County. The Walt Montgomery Family acquired the cabin from its original home, and it was relocated to Huntingdon in 2005 as a tribute to local heritage. Under the guidance and leadership of Walt Montgomery, town employees relocated and reconstructed the cabin at its present location.
