Two church buildings of the Lincoln Lutheran Congregation stood on this site, the first from 1873 to 1914 and the second from 1914 to 1968. The first building was removed to make way for the second. The second was destroyed by fire on June 9, 1968. The congregation merged with the Ridgeway Lutheran Congregation to form Peace Lutheran Church in the town of Ridgeway on January 1, 1969. The congregation was served by pastors Nils Brandt from 1851 to 1852 and 1863 to 1882, U.V. Koren from 1853 to 1863, Einar Wulfsberg from 1883 to 1891, N.P. Xavier from 1891 to 1904, Thomas Nilsson from 1904 to 1913, D.C. Jordahl from 1913 to 1935, M.B. Quill from 1935 to 1953, O.S. Hoven from 1954 to 1959, and Peter Swiggum from 1960 to 1968.
