Temple Hall Farm Regional Park in Leesburg, Virginia, is a working farm that reflects Loudoun County's agricultural roots, with heritage breed farm animals, interpretive hiking trails about native plants and animals, and equestrian trails with natural jumps and watering crossings. Temple Hall Farm was once considered part of the hub of Leesburg society and was visited by the Marquis de Lafayette during his grand tour of the United States on August 9, 1825, accompanied by President John Quincy Adams and former President James Monroe. It was once the largest supplier of bagged popcorn in the Eastern United States. The farm hosts an annual Fall Festival from late September until the first week in November, featuring autumn activities including jumping pillows, pumpkin blasters, corn cannons, live music, pig races, and a twenty-four-acre corn maze with a changing yearly theme. The A.V. Symington Center offers space for meetings and gatherings, exhibits on Loudoun County agriculture past and present, and an adjacent exhibit barn with hands-on opportunities to learn about farm animals, their care and feeding, and farming. Open from April through November for free visits, the park also offers self-guided visits, interpreter-led discoveries, educational programs for school and youth groups, and weekend tours around the barnyards and pastures.
