The Soldiers Monument was erected in Necedah to the memory of the heroes of the war of 1861–65 by Post 245 G.A.R., the Department of Wisconsin, the W.R.C. No. 90 Department of Wisconsin, and the citizens of Necedah, and it was dedicated on May 30, 1910.
