In 1921, William Godfrey and CJ Lundgren registered the Lead Bell Mining Company in the Portneuf District with 1,000,000 shares at a par value of 10 cents. It operated from 1925 to 1938. Sd Colton was president, Drecilla Godfrey was secretary, and Wm Godfrey was manager. The company mined lead, zinc, copper, and silver.
