Wilbur A. Higlendorf, Arthur C. Woodcox, Robert J. Hartman, and Clarence G. Niendorf entered military service in their country’s time of need, willingly laying aside their duties and offering their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor so that a government of the people, for the people, and by the people would not perish during World War II, 1941 - 1946.
