Man Peak is a 10,326-foot mountain in western Wyoming in the Salt River Range of the Rocky Mountains, about 16.5 miles south-southeast of Alpine within Bridger–Teton National Forest. Officially recognized by the United States Board on Geographic Names, it is the ninth-highest summit in the Salt River Range. The mountain rises sharply, gaining more than 3,900 feet above the Greys River in just 2.5 miles, which gives it a striking prominence in the landscape. Its runoff feeds the Greys River watershed. At this high elevation, Man Peak has an alpine subarctic climate with long, snowy winters, short cool-to-warm summers, and precipitation year-round.
