The Henry McDade House is a modified dog trot house that exemplifies the skills and creativity of early 20th century homes in Bossier Parish. It has one room on the south side and three rooms on the north. It was built circa 1927 by Henry McDade for his wife, Artie Lee Patterson McDade, and their eight children. As of the year 2000, they had over 80 descendants.
