Whitehall Plantation Home was built in 1857 for François Pascalis de Labarre IV. During the Civil War it was occupied by Union troops. After 1892 it served as a gambling casino, a Jesuit retreat house, and St. Agnes Church. It has been Magnolia School since 1935.
