Ski Cloudcroft is a small, long-running ski area in the village of Cloudcroft in New Mexico’s Sacramento Mountains. Established in 1963, it grew from a single T-bar into a modest lift network that by 2021 included a double chairlift, two surface lifts, a handle tow, and a rope tow. The area spans 74 acres on one mountain, with a 700-foot vertical rise and 25 trails ranging from beginner to expert terrain. Averaging about 120 inches of snowfall annually, it relies heavily on natural snow, and its southerly location makes its operating season irregular, a defining feature of the ski area.
