Floral City Heritage Hall Museum
History
Floral City Heritage Hall Museum is a local history museum in downtown Floral City, Florida, housed in the town’s former fire station on Orange Avenue near the Community Building and Library and just east of U.S. Highway 41. The building served as Floral City’s fire station until it closed in January 2000, then reopened as a museum on December 4, 2009, during Floral City Heritage Days as Heritage Museum & Country Store. The museum includes two galleries, a library, media center, and store. It is operated by the Floral City Heritage Council and also opens for special events in addition to regular Friday and Saturday hours.
