Colonel Jason B. Chamness served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne and 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), received the Bronze Star, Ranger Tab, and Special Forces Tab, and is remembered along with all Wayne City military veterans who have proudly served.
