On May 10, 1967, three adventurous boys explored these hills in the spirit of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer and were never seen again. Craig, Joey, and Billy were remembered by rescue teams who came from coast to coast to try to solve their disappearance. They are dearly missed and loved by their families and friends and will never be forgotten by all, and their loss also reflects the love of the community and a nation that helped in the search.
