The Rosewood Tract was developed from 1925 to the beginning of World War II during Ontario's transition from an agricultural colony to a city. Rosewood Court's diverse architectural styles reflect the influence of European architecture during World War I and World War II. Period Revival style homes stand side by side block after block, forming the largest such cluster within the city, most notably in French Provincial, Tudor, and Colonial Revival styles. Because most Ontario neighborhoods consist of Craftsman Bungalows with some Mediterranean style homes, this neighborhood is especially distinctive.
