Koy Cabin was constructed in Casner Township, Jefferson County, by August and Anne Koy. The original structure had two stories and two rooms. The artifacts associated with the cabin represent items customarily used in the daily life of early Jefferson County residents. Its appliances, furnishings, and utensils date to the second half of the 19th century, and the west room houses a collection of cooking stoves from that period.
