The Pablo Beach FEC Foreman’s House was built in 1900 by the Florida East Coast Railway after its purchase by Henry Flagler. Built for a local section foreman and his family, it represents a standard company design. A foreman oversaw the whole Florida East Coast Railway line, while a section foreman was responsible for approximately 17 miles of railway. After the line closed in 1932, the house was auctioned and used as a private residence until it was moved to its current location in the Pablo Historical Park in 1979. The building and the Mayport Depot are painted in a unique shade called Flagler Yellow, a standard color used by the FEC at the time.
