Sullivan County's parks include Stone Arch Bridge Historical Park near Kenoza Lake in the Town of Delaware, centered on a three-arched stone bridge and offering picnic facilities, fishing, and a childrens play area; Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History on Route 97 in Narrowsburg in the Town of Tusten, presenting an authentic depiction of the life of Delaware Company pioneers who settled in the Delaware River Valley in 1754 through daily tours and demonstrations; Livingston Manor Covered Bridge Park, featuring a towne-lattice truss bridge built in 1860 by John Davidson, restored in 1985 with laminated arches to increase load capacity and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, along with picnicking, an interpretive display, and fishing; Delaware and Hudson Canal Linear Park along Route 209 in the Town of Mamakating, developed along the former D and H Canal with hiking and biking trails, picnic facilities, fishing access, and an interpretive center; Minisink Battleground Park in the Town of Highland, the site of the 1779 Battle of Minisink, the Upper Delaware's only Revolutionary War battle, with picnic facilities, a group pavilion, an interpretive center, self-guided trails, and proximity to the restored Roebling Delaware Aqueduct, a National Park Service site; and Lake Superior Park on Duggan Road between Route 17B and Route 55 in the Town of Bethel, a seasonal day use area for swimming, picnicking, boating with electric trolling motors permitted, and fishing at a county-operated 1409-acre state-owned site.
