Citizens of Brentwood served in the Armed Forces of the United States during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict. Those remembered as having made the supreme sacrifice in World War II are Donald Benish, Joseph R. Francis, Paul A. Heinritz, Marion A. Litzinger, John T. Magner, Kenneth Marcellus, Floyd Martin, Jr., Barrett T. Mc Laughlin, Donald L. Meier, Vernon A. Meier, A.E. Morgan, Thomas W. Mosley, Harvey Segor, Robert E. Tiefenbrun, and John A. Wachter. Monte B. Cook is remembered for service in the Korean Conflict, and David A. Clements, Joseph Robinson Francis, John W. Grutsch, Michael J. Mayberry, and Toby Arthur Thomas are remembered for service in the Vietnam Conflict, along with all others of the Brentwood community who served their country valiantly.
