Norris Forest School Arboretum is a 160-acre arboretum in Nebraska, about four miles south of Hickman, that surrounds the grade school, middle school, and high school of the Norris School District. Its setting gives it the unusual dual role of a botanical collection and an everyday school landscape. The arboretum contains about 400 trees and shrubs from more than 90 species, along with native grasses and plants, annual and perennial flowers, and a gazebo used as a learning center. Together, these features make it both a diverse planted landscape and an educational environment integrated into the school grounds.
