Historic downtown included Michigan Avenue, where Judson's Hardware opened in 1903. In 1947, "Uncle Ray" sent his nephew David Erickson a postcard of Michigan Avenue. Another photo was taken in front of the Nisbett building on the southeast corner of Michigan and Maple.
