Hot Springs Peak, also called Skedaddle Mountain, is the highest point in the Skedaddle Mountains of southeastern Lassen County, California, rising to 2,333 meters (7,654 feet) about 10 kilometers east-northeast of Wendel. It is significant both as the defining summit of this remote northeastern California range and for its recent fire history. In 2012, the peak burned in the Rush Fire, which was then the largest wildfire ever recorded in Lassen County. Its prominence within the range and its place in that major fire make it an important feature of the surrounding landscape.
