Stuyvesant Light, also known as Kinderhook Light, is a New York lighthouse with a documented glimpse of its early operation from 1835. That year its keeper was John Carroll, a New York native, who received $300 for his annual pay. Beyond its working life, the lighthouse has also appeared in modern writing.
