Roselie Menard, remembered as Sioux City's first bride, was born in 1838 A.D. and died in 1865 A.D. This grave was dedicated in her memory and was presented in 1939 by Milton E. Follis, with officers of the Woodbury County Pioneer Club including Frank E. Gill, president; W.M. Stevens, past president; Ida M. Carlin, vice president; Helen Bartlett, secretary and treasurer; and Lillian M. White, music director.
