Pioneer Gothic Church was built in 1857 in the Carpenter Gothic style. One of Dwight's founders, Richard P. Morgan, Jr., donated the land for the church. The Historical Society raised $29,000 to completely renovate the building, and in 1977 its president presented the deed to the Township Supervisor for use as a Township Hall. The church is on the National Register of Historic Places. One block southwest of the church is the U.S. Post Office, where a mural painted in 1937 by Carlos Lopez in the lobby depicts the offloading of mail.
